Short Film

This short film was recommended to me to watch as it contains a lot of action within a few minutes and as our opening sequence also contains a lot of action, I found this particularly intriguing.

What it is about is a man who is waiting for someone to meet him and who was eating his food, is interrupted by a woman across the road who stops and makes eye contact with him. She then puts some glasses on, stares at him and then comes over to him. She leaves the glasses on the table and then walks off. Due to this, the man is very confused and so reluctantly tries the glasses on. He then sees a variety of numbers appear which is matched to each person containing a lot of details. This includes a month, day, hour, minute and second and then a year right at the end and also explains that this is the time remaining.

As he is so mysterious about what is going on, he crosses the road and looks into the reflection of a car window and sees 'WARNING' with just a few seconds remaining. He finally realises what is going on and so turns around to find the woman. She is across the road and again, is staring at him as she knows what is about to happen. The camera then zooms into her eye in which you can see the man in the reflection with a bus coming towards him. The film then ends.

I liked this as it contained a lot even though it is only three minutes long.

Good points
This movie was moving and sympathetic due to the logical story line.
I found that the soundtracks were put in at the right times in each scene, music is really important because this brings out the emotion and I think this was executed extremely well.
When I was watching this movie, I seen that the camera moved a lot. It moved when the characters moved, this was very precise and very well which fitted perfectly in each scene.
