Just a general review. The genres have nothing to do with my film but I reviewed this movie because I wanted to get a feel of other movies that were different to mine in order to get mine to appear unique.

Slum Dog Millionaire is about a young boy (Jamal) from the slums of India, looking for a girl (Lakita) who he lost at a young age who he had fallen in love with. He goes on this search with his older brother (Saleem) who is shown to be evil and unkind and when Jamal gets older he loses his older brother leaving him on his own to search the slums of India for Lakita. Because of this, Jamal applied for a show called 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire' and got picked; he applied to get Lakita to see him on TV and come get him, he did not apply for the money. Jamal experienced a lot of things in his life of the slums therefore he got all the questions right on the hit TV show as the questions related to his life experiences. Jamal went on to win 20 million rupees which is equivalent to 236950.00 English pounds. After the show Lakita found Jamal by watching the show and they then reunited back together.
Good points
This movie was moving and sympathetic due to the logical story line.
I found that the soundtracks were put in at the right times in each scene, music is really important because this brings out the emotion and I think this was executed extremely well.
When I was watching this movie, I seen that the camera moved a lot. It moved when the characters moved, this was very precise and very well which fitted perfectly in each scene.
