Analysis

Just a general sponsor which either produces the movie or adds money to help the producers with the movie.  Every movie will have a sponsor.

This close up shot shows the facial expressions on this man’s face. He looks smug, as if he’s up to something. He's playing with what looks like a very expensive lighter. Due to this, it gives off the impression that he’s important, someone that calls the shots. There is also a title which means it is the start of the movie therefore this entire shot is getting the audience to know the character. It is interesting how high key lighting is used because it shows off the features on the man’s face and the location. The high key lighting makes the location look as if it’s in a garage of some sort.

This close up shot shows some sort of symbol on the back of this man’s neck so this probably symbolizes that he is part of a gang. This man looks to be in some sort of prison as there is a man in the background watching over him. This also could imply that he’s dangerous. This shot is quite mysterious as you cannot see this man’s face but there is a clue, the tattoo on his neck which we should be finding out about further on in this movie.

In this long shot you can see what looks like marines in uniform which gives a feeling that what’s going on is secretive as if it was a normal questioning, you would see policemen, not marines. The man being questioned looks drained, as if he has been beaten up which again suggests that this is secretive, definitely something to do with the government because of the set up such as the window and the marines. The shot has been taken from a low angle in order to get the audience to see the entire room so they get a taster on what’s going on. It is interesting how the lighting is used in the middle, it draws the attention to that specific spot, the table and the two men sitting at it; this immediately grabs the viewer’s attention suggesting that these two are the main characters.
